The Ghost Of The Colonels
This is an absolutely fantastic piece from Adam Curtis about Greece.
He draws reference to a seven year period, starting in 1967, when the country was ruled by a dictatorship - a bunch of paranoid, autocratic colonels no less.
They corrupted society, arrested, tortured and murdered countless Greeks.
The People fought back, with incredible bravery, to inform future generations of the importance of democracy.
The BBC Documentary made in 1974, Greece - The Seven Black Years, is an engrossing and moving look at the dichotomy of human endeavor.
